ViaJet Pro Review

wild smile braces Viajet Pro
The ViaJet Pro is a large counter-top unit that has a range of excellent features for dental health. It has a large and well constructed reservoir which holds 500 ml of solution. It has a good pump that provides oscillating pressure and is highly adjustable. It also has a wide range of tips, and is solidly

Large Tank - The tank is one of the best features of this unit. It's plenty large enough, is solidly built of rugged plastic and can be easily detached to fill underneath the tap. It's very easy to attach and does not leak. You will two minutes of constant great water flow all over your mouth which is enough to ensure that you are removing debris and the anti-bacterial agent you use in the tank is really doing it's job. It's one of the few products that can handle a wide range of anti-bacterial agents in the tank. The tank is actually pre-stained blue so it won't have any unsightly stains due to the agents. Make sure the unit is rinsed out after every wash though - particularly if using salt and hydrogen peroxide.

Range of Pressure The water pressure range is good and provides an oscillating pressure which can be useful to remove debris and massage gums. Easy to adjust dial. You can turn the water on and off right from the tip unit.
Range of Tips The irrigator comes with a range of tips and you can purchase special periodontal tips called cannulae - which is a thin metal tip with a fine hole for deep gum pockets as well as extra tips.
Reliable and Quiet Build quality is OK. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. It's not particularly quiet but not unacceptably loud either. The unit we tested lasted three years and then just stopped. The unit has no user serviceable parts, but at a cost of $50 you would not expect it to have.
Customer Care and Warranty - 1 year warranty.

Pro's -Great large tank, good pressure, easy to use. Range of tips.
Con's - takes up counter space, quite a big device, needs to be plugged in.

Rating 8/10: A good overall choice. If it had a better build quality would be a really great product, but at the price you can't go wrong. Your getting many professional features for a fraction of the price of professional product.
